Workshops for Education

Improvisation workshops and training for creativity in education

“I learned how to emotionally connect with my scene partner in a way I hadn't thought of before. I left feeling very emotionally fearless and centred”

– Second Year BA student, University of Creative Arts Farnham

How Improbable can help…

Improbable have been making some of the most innovative and genre-bending pieces of theatre for over three decades. Our workshops for education are an opportunity for students to spend some time with Improbable’s practice as we guide them through the central principles and exercises that have shaped and held our work over the years.

We tailor all our workshops to meet your needs – whether a school group, university students, community groups, or youth theatre – please express your interest here and we will contact you to arrange a consultation.

Previous students have described our workshops as…

“Interesting, informational, whacky”

“It was a really crazy, interesting and subjective workshop that makes you question and challenge social norms about theatre and rehearsals and conventional drama practices.”

“Peaceful, safe, and educational”

“It’s fun, it’s not like other workshops where you do the same thing you’ve done a thousand times, there’s new techniques and exercises”

“It was inclusive and promoted putting less pressure on yourself”
