Here is the next instalment of my self-prescribed medicine for the year- a poem on a pole per month. Mary Oliver started me off, but now I am writing my own so this month’s comes to you in a very different style to the last - more spoken word on the pole, than poem on a page.

I have another appointment back in the consultation room this coming Monday. Maybe I will show the doctor these poems as part of the conversation, and discover more about what the effects and side effects are of this particular medicine.
