Well Within

After centering and inviting our hearts and bodies to settle, we entered and journeyed  down into the well. Sacred oils Yarrow & Holy Basil as offerings of scent to aid tuning in. We considered the potency and magic of the well and what wants or needs to be brought up. I shared parts of my hidden story around illness, disability. And my encounters and pilgrimages into the lands of medieval mystics, ancient sacred women who I believe are relevant and speaking today. Julian of Norwich, Hildegard of Bingen, Teresa of Avila, Claire of Assisi & Margery Kempe. They all encountered illness and transformation. And the invitation to journey into the wounds, the visible & invisible within ourselves and go through them like a portal, a window, a door. We don’t stay in the wound - we can move beyond it. But it’s part of our becoming, of the wellness. The body  speaks & weeps. The land speaks & weeps. To listen, tune in. Powerful stories from the circle wanting to be made. Medicine being given in presence around circle and through words and bodies which also then was being received back - as the power of give and the magic flow moves in a medical reciprocal way.
