Keeping the Well Filled!

We have a limited Pot of Resources
- our ATTENTION and PRESENCE is our most important gift - spend it mindfully
- work SMART not HARDER
- make space: learn to say NO!
- things done can be 'good enough'
- use your feelings of boredom and frustration as information to help you change
- get to the heart of what you are doing - let go of the small stuff

INCLUSIVITY IS THE KEY - IT INCLUDES FLEXIBILITY
- rather than a hierarchy establish a heterarchy (a network where power is shared)
- find your own work time rhythm
- find the appropriate level of caring too much with caring too little
- SHOULD is COULD with a bit of Shame!
- Learn to ADVOCATE for what you need.

THE CHALLENGES OF ££ EARNING ££ AND GROWING YOUR ART:
- you could fill your well a little bit - it doesnt have to be to the brim.
- accept the (temporary) imbalance of time and energy.
- put boundaries and red lines in: a hot meal, doing some yoga, meeting friends.
- even at your busiest do one kind thing for yourself.
- chunk your tasks: One minute - five minutes - are enough.

BOOKS:
- Oliver Burkeman on Workaholism as the other side of Procrastination: "Four Thousand Weeks: time management for Mortals."
- "Make your Art - No Matter What"
