After an amazing UK Spring tour Lisa Hammond and Rachael Spence present:
No Idea at the Young Vic Theatre
Lisa and Rachael wanted to make a theatre show but couldn’t think of an idea.
So, armed with a tape recorder, they went on to the streets and asked people to take a good look at them and imagine what their show could be about.
Who should play the main character?
Who should be the funny one?
What should the story be?
Should it be comedy, tragedy or sci-fi adventure?
What they heard was funny, heartfelt and sometimes jaw dropping. Asking the public to write their show seemed to be a great idea but slowly they realised that something was happening that neither of them could have predicted; something very strange indeed...

In September 2009, Lisa and Rachael performed a version of No Idea at the Decibel Performing Arts Showcase, a fantastic event which helped the team put together a UK tour in Spring 2010.
We're delighted to be touring to venues in Manchester, Liverpool, Birmingham, Bristol, Ludlow, Plymouth, Bridport and London.
No Idea is the first ever Improbable Associate Artist Project, a new venture between Improbable and artists they've worked with regularly in the part, providing artistic and production mentoring support.
No Idea is currently showing at the Young Vic from 21 - 31 July
